Default Radio Issue (97 Cherokee Sport)

As of now my FM radio does not work. I get 2 stations that are AM. (My cassette player works fine but I can't just run on that. I can't even use Bluetooth anymore cause I have no station to set it to)

I'm at the point where I'm just going to ask because nothing I've been able to find is clearly been able to help me.

Is this an antenna wiring issue? If it is - Where do I find the cable to check it? (I've seen some videos where there is a connection that can get lose and people are snapping this back together or binding it back with tape.) I've looked around my fuse box on the passenger side and don't see this. Maybe i'm looking in the wrong spot.

Is this as simple as just buying a new radio? I've read in another spot that no FM is something internal in the stereo and just means you need a new one. I've pulled the radio out and checked the connections behind it and everything there looks fine.

Please and thanks for any advice.

The antenna connects to the radio with a plug that looks like attached. Make sure it's plugged into the radio.
if the radio works at all it's not a fuse issue.

If the antenna is plugged in, and the antenna still exists, you probably need a new radio

If you need a new radio I would update with a new double din one like I did ...even installed a backup camera. I used this kit Metra 95-6554B, a Sony XAV-AX3200 stereo and a cheap Voxx backup camera that mounts using the license plate mounting bolts. Works great! Only issue was the camera a got didn't have the extra wire for back up light for the radio auto switching so had to do a little tracing to tie in on the wire for that signal. Added pics
