Radio draining battery ?
So Just recently I got my jeep back running. 96 Cherokee sport 4.0 v6. Figured out the reason it didn't start was NSS. Fixed that, installed new battery and alternator and it started up like a champ ... so I thought. Two days later I got nothing, no crank. I was so pissed I had no idea so I jumped it and she started up no problem. Later that night, dead battery. I figured something had to be draining the battery so I took out the pioneer aftermarket radio i had installed and I haven't had a problem started the car every since. Anyone have any clue as why my stereo drains my battery ?

it must not be wired to be completly unhooked with ignition off.

Wiring is not properly done, did you buy the correct connector so you can plug the radio into your old radio harness? If not that is what should be done with any new radio install to be sure it is correct.
Im having the same pronblem. I installed an aftermarket stereo. after I replaced the battery my stereo asked for a password which I dont have. So I installed a new stereo but my battery keep draining without any reason.
