Default Radiator and Tranny Cooler

I crashed my '95 XJ and it bent up the radiator and tranny cooler. The radiator was leaking a little so I put some stop leak in it for now. Can I bend them back into shape w/o doing any damage. Should these be replaced, if so, any suggestions on what to get? Thanks. -Shawn

If you did any damage to either I would replace them, cheap insurance and its not worth the risk.

replace both items, are you willing to bet your trans on a bent trans cooler? fluid leaks out, trans siezes, you even madder than before you crashed it. more money out of your pocket. if your doing any towing or offroading, get a proper size trans cooler and check your fluid often, if it smells slightly burnt or if it looks dis-colored, change it. As for the radiator, do some calling around for prices, rad shops and parts stores, see whats up. even take the rad down to a shop, have them price out a repair[if it is not that bad].

Any one else have an opinion? What tranny cooler would you guys suggest? I've decided on a radiator already.

not sure what size, do you tow? offroad? local parts stores have different sizes, hopefully you can get a parts guy who's knowledgeable enough to answer your questions about what size fits your style of driving. there are different cores sizes for different applications, if you do a lot of towing or offroading, go one size bigger, better too cool things down, then run too hot.
