radiator neck fix

Default radiator neck fix

when we were swapping the engine we bumped the filler neck to the raditor.now it leaks.is there a home fix to this?

Yep, sure is. Clean the begeezus out of it. Use a wire brush to scuff the surface. Apply a thin coat of solder paste (yes, the plumbling type). Heat with MAPP GAS and apply silver-bearing solder. You can get it at Lowes, Home Depot, etc.

make sure you drainthe radiator first or you'll never get it hot enough.
