You are pointing at the steering box

I have never removed one to change radiators

If you did remove it, what is the issue with reinstalling it ?

Do be very wary of the alloy threads on the pipe nut that go into the power steering box, as it is very easy to cross thread it

What year is it?

Is the new one thicker or longer?

What is it hitting?

Looks like it has a center-mounted mechanical fan, so I'm thinking either ZJ or TJ.
