Default which radiator

I am planning to replace my radiator. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should get? I saw a Spectra CU1193 for $75. I also saw a CSF 3 row radiator for $200. Is it worth double the money? any other suggestions? thanks

I got the one from Autozone for about $110. Lifetime warranty and it was only about a mile to the store should the need arise to take it back. About 1 year now and no problems.

I've been through the paces comparing radiators. I stayed away from the CSF 3 row.. I found it actually has less cooling capacity than the factory HD 2 row.

I would look at Modine or OE heavy duty radiator... Modine makes OE radiators.

Many years ago I talked to an engineer at Modine and there's many factors that lead to more efficient cooling.. and its not the number of rows. You need to take into consideration the size of the tubes.. number of tubes, fins per square inch, etc. etc.

Smaller and more tubes leads to less flow.. less surface area for cooling.

The last time I looked Napa carried Modine.

Mishimoto makes an OEM replacement radiator. I have no experience with it, but I know they make some pretty nice stuff and some of my racing buddies really like their radiators.

Go with the Spectra, lifetime warranty, used in all three of my jeeps. No hassle on the warranty. Not the radiators fault, plowed a deer and the rad started leaking, no hassles on the exchange. Keeps all three jeeps with 4.0 at good temp in all conditions.
