Radiator
I just bought a '96 XJ and was surprised to find that my radiator did not have a drain **** at the bottom for draining. About half way up there was a 1" or so dia plug but thats of little use.
Is there a low-spot drain on these I am missing?

The really nice thing about the plastic drain ***** is that sometimes they will open up for you very nicely (that's to sucker you in), and then they won't close. That's really fun!
I had one of my boys drain the radiator on my '94 a couple of years ago, and I forgot to tell him to leave the drain **** alone. I spent hours trying to get that stupid thing closed again.
Best bet? Don't touch the stupid thing. EVER.
As the others recommended, just disconnect the lower rad hose.
