So I just ordered 2 spicer 5-760 ujoints for my 88, but I forgot to check if these are for the front driveshaft or the front axle, or both? Thanks! (I Know I will need four total to to axle and driveshaft)

760 joints are the upgrade for the 297 number for front axle shaft joints.
but unless your 88 has ABS brakes, you will have the smaller 260 joints. (also if you have the vac disco axle/231 t-case) you will have the smaller joints and the 760 would be of no use to you, unless you upgrade your shafts.
your driveshaft joints are spicer 1310 except for the two in the double cardan joint.

can't remember the part numbers, but i remember they were different from the 1310 joint at the pinion. there is also a centering unit that is in between those two joints.
if for sure you have the disco axle, those 760's won't be of any use anywhere on your jeep unless you do the tj axle upgrade.
