Default quick question about bumper covers

I have a 99 XJ.... I am planning on covering the stock bumpers with some sort of spray on bed liner.
My question is... how hard is it to remove the corner covers? then how hard is it to put them back on?

Also any advice on coating them with the bed liner?

i've yet to remove them without damaging them somehow. seems that last bolt just doesn't wanna loosen up.

but then again, i've never removed them with intentions of replacing them either.

just try taping them off.

i didnt plan on keeping mine so i ripped them off. i dont imagine theyd be too hard if you were careful not to break the bolts. theres only a few on each one.

I was driving home on the interstate, when I got home I noticed one of the bumper covers had fallen off. So mine was easily removed.

thats why i ended up pulling off the fender covers... when my dad had the xj he was going down the highway and a semi blew a retread and it removed both passenger ones for him.

I gave up on trying to put them back on and decided to pull them all off.

mine came off easily. just kind of a pain to get to a few of the bolts, you have to pull back that inner fender plastic to expose a couple of the bolts.
