Default quick question

ok my 94 xj runs great but it seems to be using alot of oil.. and yesturday before driving it i checked the oil and found alot of dirt in the oil.. i had just changed the oil.. any ideas

change your oil
are you sure you didn't bump the dip stick on something after puling it out

i think it is burnning oil i have seen no puddles..

Get someone to follow you and watch for black smoke coming from your exhaust. That would be a sign it's burning oil.

Black smoke is an indication of an over rich condition, using too much fuel.
Blue smoke indicates burning oil.
White smoke is water vapor.
