Quick O2 question!!

I just became a proud owner of a 96 Cherokee. Its got a 4.5" rough country lift kit. 16" Black American Racing wheels, with 32's. roof rack with full spare. The owner before me did a half *** job on the exhaust and in the process split the wiring from the secondary(behind cat) o2 right at the o2 sensor. My question is where does the o2 sensor harness plug into the rest of the harness, I followed the wires up over the tranny as far as I could but didnt find a connector. I have the dynomax superturbo cat back on order but I want to have everything sorted so its an easy install.. any help would be awesome!!! thanks!!

is your jeep throwing any codes, or have any check engine lights on w/o that harness connected?

Yep. Just the expected ones though. I dont have the code reader where I am now so I cant tell you the exact codes, but there was 2 o2 related codes. I'm assuming they both have to do with the harness not connected. Any help with my question?

i was gonna say if there were no codes then just run it. im not exactly sure where that wire connects to ive traced it before but could only follow it so far up. im sure a little bit of searching will help you out though somebody on here will know where it goes

Do you need to know where the sensor from your exhaust goes to your engine. How the sensor is in the exhaust and travels to your engine but you dont know where at in your engine. Am I correct if not then please correct me.

should be a harness coming down by the tranny over to the passenger frame rail by the cat thats where the o2 plugs in
