Quick fix Or quick flip

I just finished hubbazoot's "Remove your sway bar" I'm new so my question is, is this as simple as it seems, and is it a viable way to quickly acquire some articulation? Or is it just a way to quickly end up wheels in the air? GFB.
Any thoughts?

No disrespect to hubbazoot. I just want to know if this is good for anyone?
Or just for people who know what they're doing.

If you are talking about the rear sway bar yes it is easy to remove and will add additional flex. Is it a viable upgrade yes it is and infact if you buy a complete lift like RE's it tells you as part of the install to remove it. If you have good leaf packs it is not needed at all.

Yes, my Rusty's 4.5 inch lift instructions said to remove the rear sway bar, also. It is pretty much useless. You should never ever ever completely remove the front sway bar if you drive your XJ on road at highway speed. Yes, it is a darn good way to end up wheels up in a ditch. :hang:There are guys who will tell you, even on here unfortunately, that they drive just fine without a front sway bar. I do recommend putting quick disco front sway bar links on your XJ because it greatly improves your off road flex to disconnect the front sway bar. I would never recommend to anybody anytime under any circumstances to remove the front sway bar completely on an XJ that sees street driving.
