questions on rear drums

i am looking to lift a lil bit highter to 5inches how do i extend the rear drum dreak lines for the E brake:help:

Just the main brake line from the body to the axle, but not to each wheel cylinder at the drums. E-brake cable will be fine as it is.

to answer your original question about the e-brake, they will work with stock lines, however the passenger side will get destroyed by the muffler.

there is a couple good write ups around the net, but essentially you want two passenger side e-brake cables from a 91 and up YJ.
then you need either a 10 inch piece of 8x1.25mm threaded rod (or another xj adjuster rod), 2 jam nuts and a coupling nut.
thread one jam nut on the end of the xj rod and cut about an inch or two off. then remove jam nut to clean the threads. then thread it back on and thread the coupler nut halfway and thread the piece of threaded rod to the coupler and tighten the jamnuts against the coupler. use some locktite. i guess you could weld them together too.

install yj brake lines and zip tie them to a secure location under the jeep.
