Question for all you guys running an 8.8 with a SYE
 
Question for all you guys running an 8.8 with SYE. How much differential fluid are you using? I have read that most overfill to make sure the pinion bearing stays lubricated due to that angle the axle has to set at when using a SYE.:confused:

I run the recommended amount in my 8.8 cant remember the amount right now
but to get that I needed to run the back up on ramps on my driveway that has a little slope to it to get the right amount in it with out it running out all over the place

also, what weight are you running??? 80-90???

I run generic multi weight gear oil
it gets change a lot

I use Amsoil 75-140 with my 4.10 LSD:)
