Default question about a lift

the leaf springs on my 01 cherokee are saging to the point of a face. The rear end sits almost a full 2 inches lower than the front. At the same time i would like to lift the whole thing 2 inches. Can i for example buy a set of 2 inch lift leaf springs and front coil spacers to solve both problems. and if so are there any other modifications neccesary such as brake lines or anything of that nature that come with lifting one that high.

yeah if you can find the springs that only lift 2 inches that would work unless you are takling about add-a-leafs, full springs is the way to go in your case id say that way you get your lift and you get rid of the sagging springs i think the only thing you would have to do is get new longer shocks and extend your rear brake line. i think thats about it.

i think your rear brake line may even be okay. If not you can just move it from the factory holder by removing the e clip and make you a small bracket.
Wish i would've seen this post a few weeks ago I just took my old rear springs to the scrap yard with a load of metal. I would've given them to you for the coast of shipping

thanks, i appreciate the info. Yeah i plan on a full rear spring replacement. I just replaced the shocks with skyjackers and i think they were a 0-2 inch lift shock. One more thing i was wondering about was if i would need to mess with shackels or somthing to get the lift in the rear. I was looking at a set of Old man Emu leafs that were labled 2" leafs so i assumed that meant two inches higher than factory hieght. Yeah that would have been nice to have gotton those leafs at cost of shipping. I would have appreciated that allot. But i guess i will proceed with the 2" lift.
