I just put on a new belt and now i hear a click when i accelerate. It goes away after about 45 seconds, but it sounds very alarming as it goes up in volume and clicks sounds become closer together the faster I go. It is still driving, just wonder what it is....

 

Open the hood. Manually actuate the throttle linkage. Find the source.
