Default Pulling engine! Tranny and tcase help?

Tomorrow i am going to pull the engine out of my 89 Cherokee. Its all ready to be pulled besides all the tranny to engine bolts. I am running a BA10/15 or whatever Tranny, and a np231 tcase.... now while i am at it should i pull out the Tcase and tranny too and inspect and maybe replace a few seals?... i don't really think my tranny is leaking, but is there any thing i need do on it while i am at it? Any ideas? thanks!

front seal on the tranny... i would leave it in if possile... be sure to pull the crossmember and keep the tranny on a jack... lower the jack... this will let the tranny come down and its WWAAYY easier to get to the top bolts on the engine... and allow for a better angle to pull the motor... i just pulled all 3 at once from a 04 WJ but had the grill, rad support and everything else outta the way...

yep. i usually just pull the tranny and engine in one piece. PITA sometimes but not too bad.

ya i did a tranny swap from my 92 to my 94 jeep cherokee, and it was kinda a pain but wasnt to bad, the 2 top bolts were reverse torx that i couldnt see from below. and to get the transfer case off was a huge pita even since i couldnt get at the bolts with the cross member on. i think it might be easier to pull the motor and tranny and tc all at once but havent tried it.
