Question Pulled my driver side front wheel off..

For the frist time today frist thing I noticed was this breather hose? coming from the front axle that was all tore up wrapped in silver Nomex? Should I just splice in a jumper hose and tie wrap it away from the rotating shaft that did it in? Thanks this is a street truck ....

The breather hose that's coming from the top of the differential? Yes you can do that and tuck it up and away from the front driveshaft but keep some slack in it so it doesn't stretched to the point of breaking when you flex. You could just relace the entire hose with another hose of your choice.

Yeah vacuum hose from any parts store will be fine. Raise it up to about the air breather height to be extra safe in a flooded street. use tiewraps to secure it and leave some slack as suggested by mudd to cover the flexing that your axle will do normally. You may want to check the rear one and the transmission one too.
