Do some searching. You will find a typical list of things to check.
Vacuum leaks
Basic tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor)
Basic engine condition (compression)
Battery/alternator health
Throttle body (Idle Air Control valve, Throttle Position Sensor, clean throttle body)
You should add the year and engine size to your profile or post. It will make it easier for others to help you.

In order for us to give you more accurate advice and help, we must know the following, as applicable, along with detailed information as to the symptoms/problems etc:
Year
Model
Engine
Transmission
Transfer case
Have you looked into cleaning the IAC (Idle Air Control ).. Here is a vid on how to clean it.
A dirty IAC can cause Idle issues.
