Default Problem with rear Brakes

Hi all, I replaced my rear brakes and bled them but they still do not work right. The wheel cylinders seem to be working but just not enough. A friend of mine said the drums may be worn out (I don't believe that myself) but before I go and get new drums I wanted some opinions. I am leaning towards the master cylinder myself so what does everyone else think? Thanks...Tj

You can take the drums and have em turned and they can tell you if they have enough surface left..As for the rears not working..if the master cylinder was bad I would think your fronts would be having issues as well...If it's just the rears I would lean towards rebleeding or wheel cylinders..That's just me..especially if the fronts work just fine.

Look at possible trash in the proportioning valve. If you still have good front brakes then the MC is prolly OK.
