Powerblock TB
I was watchin powerblock this morning and they were working on the "cheep cherokee" They at the very end of the show to do the intake manifold and TB. The intake was a 99+ but the throttle body was a 91-95. Is there something i don't know. Are these TB's superior???? I have a 96

What year XJ were they working on? I think it has more to do with a non-Renix TB than anything else.
I hate those shows.
They do "budget-builds"
Host: "And as for wheels and tires. We opted to run these (BRAND NAME) tires that measure (ridiculous size) and wrap them around a set of (overly expensive street wheel) and we did this all for just under $4000."
WHOA. Where did they lose the "budget" in budget build?
Should be more like-
Host: "We scoured Craigslist and found a slightly used set of (Brand name) tires with almost 80% tread. Had those mounted on some factory alloy rims for a (Whatever model/whatever year) that actually fit our budget-build. And got it all for just shy of $500"
Sorry, Starfighter. Kinda got carried away.
BTW: I have a slightly used Death Blossom solenoid I can sell ya cheap.

I think they were talking about the intake manifold. and yeah the Cheap cherokee had a 5" Lift Long arms, bumpers, front E locker, ford 8.8 swap, armor, tom woods SYE/shaft. Oh and a new paint job and lets not forget the 4.6L stroker...

The words "cheap" and "Ordered from a catalog" do not go hand in hand. Cheap and boneyard work together a little better.

I think its an 89? As far as I know there is no diff in TB s from 91-01. And for tv the show isn't that bad and at the end of the show they said its not much of a cheep cherokee any more. And they did get that 8.8 at a bone yard

Trackin, so that TB upgrade is for older jeeps.....
Yeah Its not a cheep cherokee. I like the Extreme 4x4 Jeep better. They didn't try to act like it was Cheap, but it did end up costing less.

the 96-+ are diff than the 91-95s too 96+have 3 sensors on the TB, and pre 96s only have 2 on the TB, and 90-pre are all 3 bolt renix style.. your fun fact for the day!

TB year specail!!
ok so uv got the 96 like i have i bought a 00 and it bolted right up, if u have a 96+ buy a 96+...... 91-95 if thats what u got buy a 91-95.. ii would NOT reccomend trying to get a pre 96 to to work on ur 96 so just buy a 96+ TB and your golden!! then send it out to get ported or u port it, port ur intake to match and a TB spacer and free flowing intake and exhaust and they claim on a 2.5l you will gain up words to 24 HP, idfk how much you will gain on the 4.0 tho,
