Is the little green lights in the switch visible on the front passenger door? Google screwed up window lock button on xj jeep. Most likely your problem. Ways to bypass it. I just bought a new master control for the driver's door and that solved my problem.

I did not have luck with the bypass trick. I got frustrated and took the entire master control apart. The root of the problem is the lockout switch. I took the entire master control unit apart and even took the lock control switch apart. I cleaned everything and when I put it back together all the other windows work. The easiest way to tell if it's going to work is if the green light is on. If it's on, that means it has power. If it's off, then no power. If I ever have problems with it again, I'll just get one of these to replace it:

Yep, switch OR the wiring in the door inside the boot.
