If the fuse blew once, and then again, you have a short somewhere and you will want to find it and fix so you don't have a fire and burn your Jeep down.

Could also be the winding in the motor. If the stator and rotor touch, it will short and blow the fuse. Double check your wiring in the door jamb. It's a likely spot for a wire with a break in it that will act normal.

Does it blow the fuse overnight, while your driving, when you open the door...you can see where I'm going with this.

Try a few things and come back

Chasing shorts in wires is a pain, physical inspection may not always tell you what the issue is without a meter. If you don't have a meter or a test light try unhooking a couple of the windows, refuse and see if the problem goes away. At the very least it will point you to where the problem window is.

2 things will account for 95%+ of blown fuses.

1.) The cumulative load of all things on the circuit being greater in amperes than the fuse is rated at.

2.) Electrical short circuits.

If you have not added extra stuff to that circuit, and you have the proper amperage fuse, then you pretty much have a short circuit somewhere in your power windows system. It could be a damaged/melted wire shorting out on the body or other ground, it could be the switch is fouled and shorting, or perhaps one of the motors has developed a short inside.

To have inspected all the possible wiring short circuits in the system you would have needed to remove several pieces of interior trim and also have accessed the inside of the fusebox. It can be a pain in the schenectadykazoink to find them sometimes.

Best of luck to you...
