Power Window issues
 

my 97 XJ's rear passenger window just stopped working and it doesn't make any noise like its trying to work. I took the door apart to switch out the motor and when I plugged the new motor into the harness and tried it out it seemed to make noise only when I hit the button to go down and made no noise when I hit it up, this makes me think something else is the problem and not the motor. I'm really stumped here on where to start troubleshooting this I would really appreciate any ideas or help.
