So I've had this '96 Cherokee for awhile now, second one I've had. The first was an '87 with a lift and 33" tires. There's a big difference in the way they steer, my '87 was easy to steer even with big tires sitting still... like it wasn't lifted. This '96 is stock and the wheel is hard to steer and fights worse when stopped. The pump is full of fluid and don't leak or whine, no hard spots either... just hard to steer. Any ideas why an older one with big tires and wide wheels steers like a Cadillac and newer stock one steers like an F250 Hi-Boy???
