power locks??
 

Did 95 or older xjs with power locks come with a keyless entry remote? The guy i bought mine from didnt have one(go figure) but its got power lock and windows if not can i wire it to use a remote by putting an after market alarm system in it??

If it's already equipped with power locks an aftermarket system will probably work fine.
I don't know what year the XJ's started offering the factory infrared RKE, but don't bother installing it- it's crap. It seems to work best if you're already inside the Jeep.

My 89 came with the option, though I've never seen a key fob. I've heard you had to be at least right at the door for it to work.

My 1991 came with it. But i don't have the fob (it didn't come with the car) And at $140, I'm not getting one either.
