I can't tell exactly from the pics, but it looks like where the door was hit down lower is what cause the top to bend out. It looks like the part of the frame where the hinges mount is still straight, but you won't be able to tell without taking the door/hinges off and getting a straight-edge or a level on it.

Also the only true way to tell if there's structural damage (like a bent frame) is to take it to a frame shop and have them literally measure it and see how it compares to the factory specs.

Since it's only worth $1100 and probably aren't worried about show-quality, you can probably get away with a new door, fender, and front axle housing like these guys are saying.

I'm wondering how come if the other car hit you, their insurance company isn't paying you a settlement?

Why should you be on the hook for all this if it's the other guy's fault?

That's a long story, in which the cop faulted me because I didn't say the correct things wile the other guy lied like crazy. I was really shaken (was on my way to a job interview) and barely talked. Long story short, the police report was in his favor but I'm contesting it in court because I realized after that how it happened was insane, and made no sense at all...got a notice saying average wait time for the appreal is 7 mo, so I'll post an update next year, ha!

Hudson, do you still have a door available?

Would be interested to see if we could work out a deal.
