My 87 renix is no start, no spark. Replaced cps and pickup in distributor. Checked continuity from sensors to computer...it's good. Now before it died on me my fuel pump was starting to go. Could a faulty fuel pump cause a no spark situation? I can hear the pump whine when i turn the key and if i depress the valve on the fuel rail it sprays gas, so i'm assuming the pump is still movin fuel. I don't have a fuel pressure guage to check. Any ideas?
