Po700 and po743 codes on a cherokee
mY 1998 JEEP CHEROKEE SPORT DEVOPED THEASE CODES ON A LONG TRIP TO OKLAHOMA FROM PA. AUTO ZONE SAID THAT IT MIGHT BE A TRANS. MODULE,BUT , THEY WERN'T SURE. iTS A 6 CYLINDER AND AUTOMATIC.
ANY IDEAS ??? POST HERE

I'll list what the codes are below which are also listed on our site I got from a search real fast.
Also please do not type in all capital letters.
700 The automatic transmission computer or Aisin computer has a problem - ask it what's going on. I don't know.
743 Torque converter clutch (part throttle unlock) solenoid circuit problem - shift solenoid C electrical fault
You definitely have a trany issue. If it was me I would take it to a transmission shop but that's just me.
