Default Plug wires question

I know that in my caprice, they all came stock with the same type of plug wire, i was wondering if the same is true for jeeps. I have a 2000 XJ, and i wanted to do the 60,000 mile service(that and i just bought it new so i want to give it a tune up, it was parked a couple monthes). However, while fixing a dent this weekend, i noticed that the trans fluid and filter were changed at 56,000(and still looking good) and was wondering if the PO already swapped the plugs and wires too, anything special brand or anything that jeep used?
Thanks

Factory wires will have MOPAR on them and a 4-digit date code.

Easy to identify.

If they're the original wires they should have the Mopar logo, and the individual cyl. numbers stamped in white on each wire about every foot or so. I have OCD so I picked up a set for my '97 from the dealer to replace the crappy ones that the PO had installed. For those that don't know the firing order of their engine, it's handy to have each wire stamped with it's corresponding cyl. number.

hedbutter isn't your Jeep a coil pack type ignition? If it is the wires are very short and you might need to remove the packs to get to the plugs.
