If '99 still has the distributor, do what the above poster said - twist and shout (when you hit your hand on some hard surface) 
If they are coil over plug, take and pull out while wiggling it back and forth.

Thanks all! I bought some plastic tweezer lookin thing at O'****holes, Haven't tried it yet, dig that blue handled old school one in pics, mine will probably break.
