Im desperate for help! can someone tell me if the ring on the flywheel (that the crankshaft position sensor uses to read) is grooved from a fallen socket, is it still good? can i use washers to hold ckps out a little farther to get its readings? HELP!:icon_confused:

It reads the "windows". Probably just fine.

Great, thats a relief. If i install new CKP at TDC will it automatically be in the right place on the ring?

Crank position sensor only goes on one way. No set up to do.
