You are determined, I'll give you that much. I don't know how much time/money you are saving in this endeavor. Cut off the connectors and just tape the wires up, it will be fine.

There should have been a dash kit that the radio mounts into. A black plastic bracket that screws in, and then the radio should have come with a "cage" that will slide into that and secure by bending some metal tabs out. Then the radio slides into the cage.
As for the static, the antenna is probably not plugged in.

It should have came with this ? If you broke the trim cant super glue glue be used its just cosmetic.

Yeah the dash kit will have to be bought seperately. I was just saying that one will be needed for the install. The cage for the radio however will be included with the radio.

That is the cage that will be installed into the dash kit that is bought seperately. That cage is included with the radio unless the radio was bought used and the previous owner didn't provide it.

Ok, my son set everything up but there is mega static, what's the reason for this??? Please help. The CD player and iPod/iPhone work fine.
