If you want some help custom designing shocks to meet your needs look up Grimusxj over on Naxja. He works at Rough Country and really knows his stuff.
I gave him intel on how I used my jeep and he sent me shock x for the front and shock z for the rear. It' rides great. I'm quite happy. My kids rode in the jeep when they were babies, no issues. Helps them grow up to be jeep fans!!

ok i"m not yelling anymore sorry, and no **** it doesn"t ride like a cadilac thats why i posted this thread, when i have more money i"ll get her a caddy but until then softer shocks will be a quick reasonable fix, thanks foR the input so far but anybody know anything more specific instead of cheap, that are guaranteed super soft? thanks for the help so far!!!!!!

wtf dude chill out.
no reason to install new springs since theyre worn out and therefore softer than factory. just get a good set of monroe or gabriel shocks form the parts store. nothing you do will make it super soft.

95% of the time, cheap shocks are soft. gabriel, koni, monroe.... just go buy a set. unless something is wrong/broken, you wont see any huge increases in ride quality.

if it is riding like a paint shaker and since you have a new baby (congrats btw) you might just need to slow down a bit just a thought and it is cheaper than any other solution.

My Dad's 93 YJ rides smoother than my XJ.. I was quite disappointed with my XJ at that point. His YJ only has a small shackle lift. Maybe I need to look at shocks too.. just have other things to spend my money on right now, like tires.
