Please help new jeep owner

I have a 1989 Cherokee 4-door with the inline six and the np231 trans case. I don't know a great deal and have read so many threads. I lost my forward gears in my jeep I have reverse, park, neutral, but no drive. I have replaced the tps, the Nss, all the lines for the trans fluid and all. I need to know where and how to replace my forward gear clutch or forward gear not sure, its an automatic other than that transmissions escape me. So please help me I can learn anything fast so if you can tell me where they are and how to fixI would be forever greatful and you would be helping out a veteran down on his luck ad most of us are.

What about first gear? Does it move when you are in "1-2"? Could be a bad TCU. Does it just rev when you put on the gas or does it stall?
