Well after going over the inside of this police/security XJ...I found that I have one bad door switch...and a missing harness on the door behind the driver side door. IT was sticky and nasty...but it was also fun to get-r-done.
driver side door with bad switch...now it works...after a visit to autozone.

Door behind the driver wtih no switch?

Harness missing.....so a trip to dealer to get the harness...and then autozone.

opposite door...with harness and switch...works great.

before

after

both sides done

broke center console support

inside put back together....

Thank you for the compliments.....
Did some calling around for the parts I need to finish up the inside....
Jeep wants $88 for the little console support (black ABS plastic part)....I think I am going to fab one up out of steel and paint it and be done with it......JEEP STEALERSHIP!
