I'm with LI do it right or don't do it at all. Dangerous for you and your passengers as well as other drivers on the road. Either replace the springpacks or try an AAL, don't hatchet it.

James, the pucks HAVE to go!! Those are a risk to you, anyone in your vehicle, and anyone near your vehicle traveling down the road! IMO, that is an unacceptable "temporary" fix!! You can "temoparily" fix items that DO NOT endanger the lives of people traveling around you.

And you apparently do not understand how much of a dangerous situation that creates. Do you even know how hard a hockey puck is? Now imagine that being hurled at your windshield on the interstate with your family in the car and then tell us it's not a big deal.
