What kind of fluid does my tranny take and transfercase? 1987 jeep cherokee peugot 5spd and the np231 t case SOMEONE PLEASSE HELP ME

I am hearing gear oil gl3 75w-90 and gl5 75w-90 but i heard gl5 with the sulphur it will eat away the syncros... andd i also am hearing dex III .... SOMEONE HELP its the

Just use Redline MT90. Great for synchros but its a little expensive but takes the guesswork out of it. I am planning on throwing this in my AX15 in the spring when it warms back up a bit.

I think 10w40 motor oil would work as well;

The synchronisers in the BA-10 are aluminum, they're bronze in the AX-15.
