permanent fuel gauge?
Could I connect a small fuel pressure gauge to the Schrader valve as a permanent part? I've looked through quite a few posts and I never see this mentioned. Am I considering something that is just a stupid thing to do involving gasoline? All advice is welcome.

I do not think it is stupid,I have not seen fuel pressure guages on an xj but I have on many other cars. When you do hook one up just be careful and watch for any leaks.

Thanks, we used to put low pressure guages on carburetors but I've only had 2 cars with fuel injectors and I'm not too familiar with them yet. I think I'll try it, thanks again

personally i wouldnt wanna run an elev guage to the cabin just the thought of fuel and spark in the cab seem scary to me but i would put a guage pod on the hood and run a mech guage to it plus ive always thought that that would be effin sweet

By the way, a fuel gauge would be cool, and useful.

First thought was mud. But if you don't play in that then you would be fine. Fox body Mustangs have been running cowl hoods and gauge's up front for years.
I like the idea for a trail only rig with them outside but something street driven I prefer inside. I don't want someone ripping them right off the hood.
