Hey guys, first post here.

Ive got a 1997 cherokee sport 4.0 automatic, is 99%stock except for large tires.

I went to start jeep this morning and it started and ran for about 8 seconds before it stalled and would not start again.
After it stalled, i noticed that turning the key to the run position did nothing - no gauges came on or anything yet accessories still worked.
Checked under hood and fuse 3 in the pdc block was popped. This is a 40a for acc/run.
Replaced it twice, each time it ran for about 5sec then stalled with a popped fuse.

Any help would be really appreciated. Looked through my ancient chiltons.. all i see on that circuit is starter, solenoid, relay, and ignition switch.

Jeep ran perfect for last several months until this morning now fuse just keeps popping.
