Default PCV Valve -- 89 have one or not?

My shop manuals describe the PCV valve yet the auto part stores don't see it in their databases. I need to unclog the system but it's challenging when the stores can't find the part the manual describes. I am wondering if on this 1989 4.0L 6-cyl engine there is some other name for it or an alternate scheme for PCV. Thank you.

Will just go to parts store and see what they can match up. But it's a peculiar thing, another idiosyncrasy I must learn about.

They call it CCV. At the rear is just a 2.6mm oriface, then the tube goes on a nipple forward of the TB. Hope this helps!

Renix Vacuum Harnesses/CCV stuff.
The vacuum harness that attaches to the front of the valve cover and includes the grommet/fitting is Napa part number BK 715-1367
The vacuum harness that is closest to the air cleaner, EGR etc, and is called the rear harness, is Napa part number BK-715-1366.
The tube from the rear of the valve cover to the intake manifold is part number 715-1365.
The grommet alone for the rear is a 42088 Dorman

This info was VERY helpful. They cross-referenced the Napa numbers and put what I need on order. Thanks very much!

There is no valve in the system. There is just the little hose on the back of the valve cover that route to the intake manifold and the bigger elbow on the front that routes to the airbox. This elbow is not commonplace in many parts shops, but you can jerry rig something if you get creative.

It's all summed up, with photos and Napa and Dorman numbers in Tip 22 in my Pink Link below.
