pcv valve.

Or what ever the thing is on top the valve cover closest to the firewall. I broke mine the other day, tried to pop it off and it proceeded to start to disinigrate as I pried gently on it. The line going to the intake is also busted. Auto clown (aka auto zone) has no line replacement part in their computer for this. As well as the pcv elbow having a flange on the outer edge and on mine the line fits into the elbow rather than over it. Its sucking air and I know it made my cel come on and I'm assuming its affecting my pcm learning process as I've just done the 784 injector upgrade.
Can I use normal vacuum line and rig something up? Or will vacuum line Just collapse. Original line is a hard plastic.

the Best thing you can do is go to the junkyard and find a replacement... or go to the dealer... but if you want to make I used Rubber hose in the beake of the hard line it works for awhile.. and the PCV is stiil avable at the dealer

ccv is the correct term. just call up your local jeep dodge dealer and ask for the parts department and they can order one for you. i replaced mine about a month ago and it was like ten bucks or something.

X2 I got both of my lines from the dealer $34 and that was BOTH fittings and both harnesses... thats what they called the tubes.

Aww shucks it can't be that easy!

Ordered mine yesterday from the local Jeep dealership. For a 21 year old truck, they still made it and all the harness, $18.

I just noticed mines a little leaky, I want to replace it too. The rear one closest to the firewall. What does it do and how do I replace it.

I don't want to break it.

The part number from nappy auto parts would be much appreciated.

I don't have a dealer close by, and working tomorrow. I was hoping I could pick it up before work and install after work.

Is it to difficult to do in a short amount of time
