i have 92 cherokee that i have changed the CPS and did compression check(125psi) so now i need PCM. Can i use one from 93 cherokee or does it have to be from 91-92 cherokee.??

what makes you think you need a pcm? they are pretty reliable.

i was told that the PCM is not sending enough volts to the CPS. I have changed that, i have spark(blue spark), fuel to the fuel rails(pressure squirts out of the valve on rail), just turns over and over coughs a lil then turns over and over. the pcm is the only thing i didnt change. i checked all fuses. i am in need of major help. thanks for the input

The best thing to do is to get a pcm with the same part #,the 93 would plug in but it may not work,even one from a 92 may not work. They have to be the same part #. 91-95 were pretty much the same,There was another member on here that got one that was the same pcm but a year either newer or older I do not recall at this time,and he plugged it in and all was well except he could not start it because the security system was not the same.
