I have been having misfire issues and wanted to clean the pcm connectors. I assume the pcm is the thin metallic unit in between the air filter and the fender. I can get the back covers off easy but cant seem to release the connectors themselves. Whats the trick..thanks
Don't want to take the back covers off.
IIRC correctly you want to push down on the one tab in the center.
Might have some bad news for you.
I made that same mistake pulling a Federal Emission harness off an '00.
Thinking someday might change mine from CA Emissions.
Anyway I got the harness off but to this day can't seem to get that cover back on.
I know it sounds stupid and figure it is just me but every time I come across that harness in my parts pile
looking for something else give it a shot and have yet to get it back on.
LOL.
