Passenger door power help

Have had intermitent issue with psg window. Sometimes works sometimes not. This happens when using driver control and psg window switch. Usually hitting both switches at same time would got things going then would be ok.

Recently all windows inoperable except from drivers switch. Was going to jump the switch using method descibed in XJ section. One thing of note the psg side door speaker is also not working.

Could these issues be related? Door locks act funny sometimes too. Maybe a grounding issue?

Anyway not too confident with electric repair so go easy on me, appreciate any ideas.

You forgot to mention the year of you XJ but 9 times outa 10 its the wires where they pass thru the door way in the flex joint. They are too stiff and after constant flexing break. Pull it apart and repair wires as necessary.

So is the flex joint best accessed by removing the door skin or the kick panel?
