Passenger Crank Window Regulator is broken
Hello,
I have a 1995 Two door XJ with crank windows and the passenger side window regulator is broken.
When I crank it up, it just clicks like a gear inside is stripped. if I push up on the glass I can get the window shut. I know its not simply the plastic handle thats slipping because I took that off and tried with a vice grip and got the same result.
I have searched but almost everything that comes up is either the automatic one or for the drivers side. I have thought about finding someone who is parting out a jeep and getting it from them but most of them are automatic windows or 4 doors.
Does anyone know if a front passenger regulator from a 4 door will work on my 2 door jeep even though the doors are obviously different? Or do you know the part number or where to find it?
