Parking Lights...Please Help!!!
Okay, so I have a 96 SE that kept blowing the dash light fuse. After I got tired of continuously replacing one blown fuse after another, i finally decided to slap a 20A in the fuse port under my dash.
I turned my headlights on and they worked fine. But, when I turned them off and turned them back on, my headlights worked, but there was no power going to the parling lights (running lights) but there was power going to the headlights. I looked under the dash to the fuse pannel but there was no blown fuse. I thought I had narrowed it down to the switch because my blinkers and brake lights worked fine (front and rear). I had read up on the subject but nothing seemed to help. I took my hatch panel off and the ground connection that was decribed to be the common culprit was connected so i disconnected that and tried again, still nothing. I replaced the switch and the fuse (to a smaller amp size) and still, nothing changed. Im out of ideas. Could anyone help me? It would be greatly appriciated!!! Thanks, Dalmatian |
look for a wiring connector up front under the air box, all the front end lighting plugs in there, they go "green" lol
Good luck |
