Parking brake cable issues??
 

I am in the middle of some rust repair and prevention. Midwest winter salt had done a number on the parking brake adjuster and I decided to change it out along with new cables. The issue is the equalizer is not even between the two cables. I ordered my Crown cables from Rockauto and I am thinking the right cable is not the correct length. Opinions and/or suggestions are very welcomed.

Does the parking brake work when you apply it?

Yes if I pull the brake on ithe drums lock. The beast is on jack-stands so I am not 100% sure what it will do when on the ground. It just bugs me that they are not equal.
