paint estimate

i need my header panel and right fender to match my red 98 xj. how much would it cost to get these painted to match? and dont say well it depends on blah blah blah. any estimates?

If your not too picky about it being an exact match (new paint will be less faded than the old paint), just go to an autobody paint shop and have them mix you up a spray can or two useing your Vin# and paint it yourself. I just did my header and light bezels this way and the only person who can tell the difference is me. It only cost me $14. Just thought I'd throw out the option for you in case you had'nt considered it.

cool deal. so you just went to a paint shop and asked to mix some paint to match your white and they can put it in a aerosol can?

I have a 94 cherokee..what "color" white or "name" is this paint??

I don't know many prices but if you are going to have someone else paint it, sometimes it seems cheaper to paint the whole car instead of one or two panels because paint matching can be expensive because they take samples from other panels of your car so the new paint will match with possibly faded paint.

Why don't you take it to a paint shop and get an estimate? Price will depend on how perfect you want it...

paint cost $120 at the local diamond vogel shop. single stage. stands up to rock chips and scratches great!!
