Pacific Coast Manuals - Can the 93 manual be used for a 91?
Lost my Haynes manual and saw that someone recommended the Pacific Coast manuals. Looking on their site they don't seem to have the repair/service manual for my '91 cherokee. They do have a '93 though. Was there a major difference between the '91 and the '93 that would make purchasing the '93 manual pointless? Can I use the '93 manual for my '91 in other words?

There are a fair amount of differences, but also a lot that is going to be similar so it really depends on what you're looking at.
As an example - For the 94-96 range, the XJ was basically the same, but then the 94 has no drivers airbag, the 95 has a drivers airbag (and hence a completely different ignition column setup) and the 96 after Jan 1 has ODB2, whereas the 94, 95 and some early 96's are ODB1... so the same general run, but plenty of non-trivial variance.
IIRC 91-93 was a similar range where the major stuff is generally the same. A lot of parts application ranges cover 91-96 and some are even wider (91-01).
I would try to find another source for the FSM and try to get the proper year (rather than paying for an off year). You could also contact them and see what the deal is. Worst case they don't have and won't get the 91, but maybe they're close to having it available.

For not a terrible price, you could get the digital version of the 1991 Mopar service manual over at rockAuto for $23. Not bad.

No problem!
I was shopping for sundry parts the other week and I out of boredom I checked out the "literature" section. Noticed a print and digital version of a "service manual," and noticed the thumbnail looked a helluva lot like the Mopar manual books I'd seen go for $150+ on the 'bay printed, and $70 digital… lo and behold!
